PM Narendra Modi visits Kolkata on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's 125th birth anniversary: See pics

PM Narendra Modi on Saturday (January 23, 2021) arrived in Kolkata on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Speaking at an event organized to pay tribute to the freedom fighter, PM Modi said that Neataji would have been proud to witness India's COVID-19 fight. "Had Netaji seen India fight COVID and produce a vaccine against the virus, he would have felt proud! Had he seen us helping other nations, he would have felt proud!"

PM Modi arrived in Kolkata on the occasion of Parakram Divas and paid tributes to Subhas Chandra Bose at the Netaji Bhavan today. The Centre is celebrating Netaji's 125th birth anniversary as Parakram Diwas.

On the occasion of Netaji's birth anniversary, PM Narendra Modi also attended the international conference on 'Re-visiting the legacy of Netaji Subhas in the 21st century'. H ealso exchanged greetings with the family members of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose during his visit to Netaji Bhavan.

PM Modi paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary in Kolkata. While remembering the beloved freedom fighter, PM Modi said, "During the World War II and changing political dynamics, why did he go to every country to ask for help? For our freedom! For a free India! Every Indian is indebted to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose."
