Sasikala's husband arrives at Parapanna jail court premises ahead of Sasikala's arrival in Bengaluru.

VK Sasikala is expected to reach Bengaluru court by 5.30 pm.

"I called the Home Minister and urged him warn the TN DGP on the outrageous eviction of Palanisamy's MLAs," tweets senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy.

Thenarasu says the police made some enquiries and had left. But others at the site said they were still massed outside the complex.

One of the legislators, Thenarasu, tells the media that the legislators would vacate the resort once the Tamil Nadu Governor invited their leader to form a government. He adds that the legislators could also vacate the resort if Palanisamy told them to do so. 

The Tamil Nadu Police deployed outside Golden Bay Resort in Kuvathur where AIADMK MLAs are lodged.

Notably, SS Saravanan, who represents Madurai South, was the one who scaled up a wall and jumped down to escape from the beach resort on Monday.

The court hall where VK Sasikala is to surrender today has been shifted to the central jail at Parapppana Agrahara due to security reasons. The Karnataka High Court Registrar accepted a request by Bengaluru City Police to shift the court hall in the city citing security and other considerations, official sources said. The Parappana Agrahara jail is located close to Hosur, the entry point on Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border.

Sasikala loyalist KA Sengottaiyan says he is hopeful E Palaniswami will be invited by the Governor to form government. AIADMK members are united, adds Sengottaiyan.

Flanked by a huge number of supporters, Sasikala reaches Jayalalithaa's memorial at Marina Beach.

Sasikala will first pay homage to former chief minister J Jayalalithaa at her memorial. She will then leave for Bengaluru to surrender in court.

With Tamil Nadu PWD and highways minister Edappadi K Palaniswami staking claim to form the government, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader S Prakash tells news agency ANI: "Sasikala, even after the conviction, is trying to take hold of the Tamil Nadu government by putting up a proxy candidate of her own choice. The new incumbent has already met the governor and sought his permission to form the govt. I am sure the uncertainty in TN politics will soon end and a new government will be in place."

AIADMK chief Sasikala re-inducts her relatives Dinakaran and Venkatesh in the party, years after they were expelled by Jayalalithaa. 

The Supreme Court on Tuesday derailed Sasikala's political career even before take-off by upholding her conviction for corruption along with two relatives and Jayalalithaa. The apex court has confirmed the four-year jail term to Sasikala and two of her relatives. The SC upheld that Sasikala cannot contest elections for 10 years, including the four years that she spend in jail. She was fined Rs 10 crore.

Sasikala had on Tuesday urged party cadres not to fear anybody and her thoughts will also be about them wherever she would be.

She said the AIADMK government's rule will be established in Tamil Nadu.
